16' Starcraft 1700 lbs

I just got back from weighing my boat:
1974 Starcraft American 16'
1974 85 HP Johnson long shaft
1974 EZ-Load trailer.
Total 1700 lbs.

Assuming the trailer is 350 lbs does any one know the weight of the motor
so i can make a guess as to the weight of the boat?

Just for kicks does anyone know what just the boat weighed when built?

Biffle if it will help your boat dry ( no motor no gas and no trailer ) should be 820 pounds according to the 1974 brochure :D.

Ok here is what i figure:
total on the scale today 1700lbs

Boat 825lbs dry
Trailer 350lbs
gas, chairs, anchor, battery, cover, 150lbs (this may be higher just guessing)
motor 265lbs

that totals 1590lbs

Then ive got 110lbs water in the foam in a 35 year old boat. As the floors are solid as rock and i can feel nothing unusual under the deck (as far as i can reach).

yea doesnt sound to bad at all :D 30lbs in 35 years.. less then a lb a year.. wish I could gain equivilant to that :p

I have a 1977 glastron with some serious water logging.. I bet its well over 100lbs :D (and that would be the reason she's doing to the bone yard)

i took out 150# of waterlogged foam from my 16' jupiter. the 2 layers of ply and foam were like 400# total...

I didnt weigh my foam although I guess I could weigh my old deck since I still have it just in case I need it for patterns :D.
