hello, can anybody tell me if the early 70's chrysler 55hp lower end will fit a force mid 80's force 50hp. the lower units look the same but not sure if the shift shaft and driveshaft splines are correct. on the force theres 14 splines and a two piece shift shaft, with the threaded rod coupler in the middle and attaches with a pin down in the lower. any help? thanks
