What year model is my MFG Niagara (w/picture)

Hello all,

This is my first post on this forum. I was just given a MFG Niagara from a relative where it sat in their yard for the past 15 years. The hull looks to be in very good shape, but the interior will need to be completely restored. My problem is that I can't find a model year on it anywhere. The rear capacity plate just has a random number in the corner (9513). I have also included one picture of the boat to possibly help in the year identification. Can anyone tell me what year this boat would be or where else on the boat I might find this information.

go to fiberglassics.com they have a good section there with adds from different manufactures.mfg is in there you should be able to find yours.

Welcome aboard AMProfessor ! I'm Gonna suggest '63 as the gunnels are flat at the back . Do check fiberglassics / mfg to see the old brochures then drop down to the MFG section here at iboats . We got a good community of friendly guys ! I have a '61 oxford - a predacessor to the Niagara . peter

The MFG section of fiberglassics,com seems to be under construction. I apologize for my ignorance but how do I get to the MFG section of this site? Also, the boat is about 14'. I'm really looking forward to restoring it and plan on posting pictures and updates. I'll be selling a motorcycle ASAP and putting the money into the boat. I've built a few boat interiors with my uncle growing up, but I don't have any experience with motors. I was told it ran good 15 years ago. I may have to take it to a marina for a clean out and tune-up.
