Congrats on your purchase of a boat! And welcome to iboats.

In 1951 the capacity plate was not a mandated item. Some boats had them, others not. Check around the transom area for a small plate with model number, hp limit, and weight capacity.

A good place for info on vintage boats is fiberglassics.com. Generally there are no replacement parts specific to that boat, but all the "generic" parts you will need to maintain it are. Like rotary/rack steering systems, transom drains, control box and cables, cleats, navagation lights, etc. If you want a piece of molding, or emblem specific to that make and model, then go to ebay.

Good luck and post some pictures! We love to see projects progress.
