Hi guys, new to the forum and would like a little help with a problem,

My 1986 Mariner 150 HP bogs with blue smoke when increasing throttle out of gear using the cold start throttle. It did the same thing on the lake, in gear, would bog and splutter and just refuse to get up and go, idle seems fine, good spark, plenty of blue smoke

Here is a video of it running, trying to increase rpm with the cold start throttle (if that's the right term)

Ok got it fixed, for future reference for someone else it was the stator and rectifier.
