baretta motor?

I have a 1988 baretta super sport missing a motor. I am told it had a 4 cyl. volvo penta....I am having troubles finding out the exact motor for my boat or a sutable replacement...any direction on finding info or resources would be greatly appreciated!

pretty much.....what ever you want !

you can put a super charged 505 in there.

basic choices are uasually determined by the type of parts you have for it...like the drive and exaust pipes......if you have a single pipe and dont want to change the setup....then a four banger is fine....

if you want more power....a 4.3 or 5.7 is allways a good choice.

but any good running 140 hp is a real work horse from the 4 cyl line.

thanks for the reply...just tryng to keep it relativly stock. I was told to put a a completely different motor (350) would cost quite a bit...
