hi i have a johnson hd25 and i need rings for it any help would be appreciated mine runs but has bad compression 40 and 60 psi and due to this i cant get it to idle for trollin thank you again rob

If it were me, I'd post a free ad on aomci.org. You could probably get rings from nymarine.ca.
You could buy a good used powerhead for less than rings will cost at aomci.org Probably a whole motor for around $75 to $100. I would just mention in my ad that you'd like one with over 60psi of compression.

I also have a hd25 and have a heat problem...it would heat up and i am not sure where it is to come out. so now i have the bottom apart and am going to order an new impeller although it looks good.. can you tell me where the water from the motor comes out... the plug in the back under the spark plug when removed pumps water..if you can help that would be great..sorry i can't be of any help..

there are two little holes just above the Lower Unit
under the thrust ring
those are supossed to spray out a fine mist

not that mine is runnning yet, but i read alot :)
