gonna need some more info, but 1994 was when OMC sold their name to Volvo and Volvo changed the drive internals
they look the same on the outside but inside they are a different animal
could be the 1994 drive is still an OMC Cobra internal but you'd have to pull the rear cover to be sure
i have a 2.3 omc 1988 will a 1994 3.0 lower unit bolt to it
