Hey everyone,

I am curious if anyone could give me advice on a slow leak that appears to be coming from right where the steering arm is. This is on a 1990 Ciera 2655 with the Alpha one and 5.7L. I haven't been able to dig up alot of information on it, but it sounds like a very expensive fix if I took it to a shop. Does anyone out there have a good idea of the process of fixing? I have heard that it involves taking the engine out? Also I heard mercruiser might have redesigned the seals but it requires you to drill two holes in your hull. Thanks for any help and input on this issue. I definetly have a few other issues I will be asking about on this forum in the near future. I am currently deployed overseas right now so I am trying to get together a good parts list and plan of work for when I get back. Thanks again.
