A belated Happy Birthday to our friend Spinner 8/6/09
Spinner and I thought it would be a good idea in 2003 to plan a get together.
We picked a lake in Missouri. About 25 said they were coming and 3 came that first year. Many here were not even members that now enjoy iboats. It was the first of 5 that i have attended to over the years. I have met about 25-30 members here now.
Boating bought us together but it was enjoying the company of those who came. Its was not so much about doing some boating together as to sit around a fire at night telling stories(lies)of things about our lives.
There will be many more roundos as the years go on. Many of us would not have met had it not been for iboats. I have one more i would like to see and that would be for JB and i to meet up north for that musky trip that we hoped for since 03. We have fished the same lakes but not in the same boat.
I started this thread so all would know that because of our friend Spinner that these get togethers have flourished. Below is the tee shirt that SnapperBait donated to our first roundo
