Can't buy an outboard to replace the burned out one this year. I wanted to go up to Bass Lake and do some fishing for the weekend.
Do you think a 33lb trolling motor would be feasible for getting around a small 2 mile lake? Very open. Shallow. I'd have the wife and boy in there too. (They're small.) A friend of mine has a 33lb thrust I can use but I am wary of going up only to be disappointed. I'd have 2 batteries to bring with me and would only be running the motor off them. One deep cycle one not. Any opinions would be appreciated.
