Hello everyone, i just bought a boat with a 1980 johnson 140 hp v4 and it was running fine for the first few hours of use, then i ran out of gas, filled up (40:1) and then went to go again, and it took a few cranks to start obviously and then when it did fire it was full throttle. i managed to get to shore but i still now cannot get it to idle down, does anyone have any experience with this? And also when i pulled the hood and checked everything out my linkage on the intake manifold was off, I re installed it but no change. Thanks for any help.
