Twisted bunk!

Tonight when I was loading my boat after a long afternoon of issues with my boat and one of the bunks was twisted so the boat was not sitting flat on it. The boat is sitting on the edge so the bunk is kind of facing out. I was too tired to back it into the water and try to fix it so I left it as is. I have to take it to the mechanic tomorrow and wanted to know if I can jack up the back end of the boat to turn the bunk or just wait till my next trip to the lake. Just curious.
Thanks

Re: Twisted bunk!

I'd probably jack up the boat a bit and reposition the bunk.
Then tighten the brackets so it can't do the same thing again.

Lower the front of your boat as for to the ground as you can get it. Place two jack stands under the back of the boat use blocks of wood for support and raise the front of the boat back up as far as you can. Your boat will now be off your bunks and you can fix your problem. This all takes about 10 min. to do.
