Just saw a commercial on The Outdoor Channel for a product called Snapper. It is a remore control boat trailer bow stop&lock. Looks pretty slick. Anybody out there have one and willing to post comments?

I have see versions of what you are talking about. Maybe it is just me but I would perfer to see with my own eyes the hook on the strap and the safety chain hooked to the bow eye.

I saw a $40,000 bass boat dropped on a boat ramp because one of those spring loaded bow clips. The guy was loading his boat heard the spring clip fire on the trailer. He nor his buddy bothered to check and make sure all was well with the clip and low and be hold the clip missed and the buddy driving the truck floored it. I will let you all guess how the rest of the story goes...

You have to power load to use one of these don't you?

Bad Idea.
