Hi all! I have a 1971 Mercury 20HP outboard motor. I have some trouble with ignition. I need to know what would be the voltage reading off of stator. Does anybody have a wiring diagramm for this motor? Thanks!
They don't use voltage a test on that system, however I have tested them and never read less than 200 v. on a DVA. Here's the test that CDI uses on that system even though it shows for different years.

Thanks Laddies! I'm trying to figure out few things here. I have two wires coming out of trigger: yellow and brown. Do i hook'em up to a "-" side on a coils?
