Help!Have a Mercury year 2000 175XR2 jet, when this thing idles we can only get it to idle at about 1400 to 1500 rpm, if it goes below this it acts like one of the switch boxes has shut down and idle will drop to 800 rpm and will usually die, when you start to open the throttle at this 800 rpm and give it a little bit of gas it will start hitting on all 6 cylinders, top end is about 5400 rpm and the water temp runs about 160 to 170 degrees, this jet is on a fire and rescue boat Help Please!!
