have 93 40 hp.3j40telt on a 15 ft. alum. boat. dont know weight of boat seem lite. dont have tach. yet prop is11 3/4x17 boat seems to have speed. is the right prop for this. only use for fishing, crusin

Ron, you need to buy a Tiny Tach for about $ 50, without a tach you have no idea, and we don't either if you have the right prop or even close for your boat.

The commercial one has many extra funtions that are very helpful, read about it, they are nice. I have one I use as well and it is the commerial one.
