Hello,
I've got a 1973 Johnson 135hp that I've recently replaced the powerhead with a used one. Rebuilt the carbs, have had to replace the sensor/timing base and a few other issues. Had it out the other day to test it out and it was idling good and good power out of the hull and at WOT. I was able to ski behind it; one issue I was having though was that as you let back on the throttle from high RPM, the motor would stall out. It would start right back up and idle beautifully and repeat the process ie, worked fine unless you want to let off the throttle from high RPM. Right now I'm suspecting fuel line issue? The fuel pump is new as is the primer bulb. Any other ideas?
