1999 115 HP Evinrude Ficht booging down at 2500 RPMs
Changed the fuel filter and primer bulb. The bulb does not get firm after pumping it. Seems as though the motor is not getting enough fuel. Please help....

What are the diagnostic sw results from interrogating the EMM?

Haven't got a diagnostic report yet, I was seeing what I could do before going that route.

Had the same problem with my 115. Dumped old gas and put in fresh, and it ran better.
Then removed carbs and found ball valve on bottom of throttle body assembly was plugged up with grease like sludge. Cleaned it out, and she runs perfectly again.

This motor is a Ficht with no carbs. It's a DI motor.

Sounds like a bad/weak lift pump, if it original its due to be replaced anyway..

Lift pump is a dealer install item only. The fuel system components are expensive ... you want to get a BRP dealer to diagnose and replace only what's necessary.
