A nieve friend of mine replaced his 150 merc with a rebuilt 200 hp merc....
Upon watching it at idle I didn't see any water discharge at the back ....
AND.....also saw only a very tiny trickle when he drove past me at high speed......Is this normal with mercs or should there be a steady stream???
I have an evinrude and it pumps a steady stream even at idle but don't
know if this is just normal with mercs.....To me no water pumping out
means something is blocked or an impeller needs replacing but am ignorant about mercs...
