I've never seen an adhesive like this before. It is a very dense adhesive foam that was put between the deck/ cap assembly and the stringer top at assembly. The mfg is Nitro/ Tracker. I figure it added support and decreased noise.
The bigger question is what do I use in it's plce when reassembling? It's so much tougher than 2 part flotation foam or great stuff I'm not sure what I should use.
