Default Need New TOON purchase advice

I am within days of making a decision between a 2009 24' Parti Kraft or a 2008 24' Avalon Excalibur. Both are new. I have researched all of the brands and truly want the most boat for the money (first boat). The Parti Kraft comes with a 115 hp Mercury 4 cycle; Avalon with a 115hp Yamaha 4 cycle. Although I think the Avalon has alot more accessories, I am stumped. I had a shaky test drive with the Avalon due to an issue with the valve in the water/fuel separator preventing the motor from getting gas. The issue was repaired and the second test drive was great. The Avalon is definitely a smoother ride. I must admit this test drive caused some hesitation. What other boats did you consider? I see alot of Avalons here, but very few Parti Kraft toons.

Did you go with 2 toons or tri? I am now considering a 2008 Avalon tri-toon w/150hp Mercury due to the experience.

More confused than ever!

Not enough info. What are you using it for, how many on board, how important is speed? The tritoon will be the better ride and the 150 will give you more speed, but will be less fuel efficient. Price, options and layout being the same, I'd take the tritoon. Don't let the minor mechanical problem through you off. This can happen on any boat and was a simple fix.
BTW welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the quick response! Always, 2 people, often 4-8 total on boat. The price is not equal with the Tri-toon and really don't have a need for speed more than the toon will offer. Anyone with Parti Kraft experience?
