2006 e-Tec 90 trim & tilt questions

Does anybody know what type of fluid goes into the Evinrude 2006 e-Tec 90 reservoir to operate the trim & tilt. Motor went bad after 3 years and I am in process of replacing.
As well is this a self bleeding operation or will it have to be done manually?

Trim & Tilt

With someone?s help push the up button, and someone help the motor go all the way up. Lock motor in that position, now fill reservoir, replace cap. Unlock and bush button to lower motor. Keep repeating until it does not take fluid. The unit should operate now. Dextron II or power steering fluid.

Before you add any fluid, post the complete model number as some engines had a regular trim fluid and other ones have a special synthetic biodegradable type, and they cannot be interchanged.

there were 2 different types of trim units used.
