Hi
I have just joined your forum and live in the UK!
The reason for this post is that we do not use livewells as much as you do in the States and I have just had the pump sent to England from Discount Marine Supplies in the US. The service was very good and I am pleased with the product!
I have a portable livewell in the boat and I have connected the pump to this. The idea was that i would connect the hose to the thread outside the livewell and drop the tube in the water which has approx an 18" drop and pump seawater into the livewell.
I am having real trouble trying to draw the water up into the pump and to keep a steady flow. I think the pump self primes but I cannot get a continuous flow.
Any suggestions of how to solve this problem would be most appreciated!
