need help trying to ID my engine and sterdrive?

i just got a 1976 26' Reneill cruiser. and im trying to figure out what engine, outdrive i have ect... the only model number from the engine that i found was this...MCM-B any ideas? i know it a mercruiser but nothing other than that..

as for the outdrive, there is nothing on it to indicate a model number or anything.. i did find this stamped into the side of it though "4459695"

It would help to know engine 4-6-V6-V8 sbc (small block)or V8 bbc (big block) or Ford?

A few pictures would help too.
