Default anybody try useing alumaloy to repair an aluminum prop?

I saw an ad for an aluminum alloy rod that would rebuild the metal on an aluminum case, or fill a stripped hole that could then be retapped. I was wondering if anybody ever tried to repair a prop with this stuff

Leave the prop repairs to the pros - i.e. a good prop shop. Adding something like that, you would probably change the balance of the blades, and the stuff most likely isn't strong enough to handle what a prop goes through. If the prop is out of balance you can do serious damage to your lower unit - which will cost a lot more than a new or rebuilt prop.

I wouldn't waste your time, the forces on a prop are high...welding is the only thing that will hold permanently.
