Mercury 1968-1971 Stator help
Ok I have a 1968 Mercury don't know the serial number off hand but it is a 1968. I just picked up a 1971 serial is 309.... so I know it is a 71. The question is can I use the rectifier and stator off of the 71 and use it one the 68? All the brackets seem to fit perfect the only one the does not is the rectifier one. Any help would be appreciated. Besides the stator rectifier and the flywheel is there anything else I need to change?
