Mariner 40 mag starter problems

Just had starter rebuilt and when I put it back on it has alot of movement didn't notice this when I took it off. I'm pretty sure I put it all back right. Is some movement normal? Thanks: James

Hi,

Armature movement up and down is normal.
Side to side is not as good as the upper bushing maybe worn.
