Just picked up a bilge pump. It draws 1.5 amps. The instructions say to get a 2 amp fuse for it, but on the pump itself it says to use a 3 amp fuse. What would be best for a 1.5 amp draw?
Good questions...not sure of the gauge but the wire's braided and about .0625" thick...so, 14-16 gauge? The wire coming off the pump is about 2 ft. and I'll add another foot or so of wire after I connect the fuse.
......what gauge is the wire and how long is it?
