A friend of mine is a shade tree boat mechanic so I took it to him running but skipping to do a tune up and put new seals and a water pump in the foot. He got it back together and it would not start at all. Replaced both power packs and it would start but only run on left bank. replaced coils.. same thing. replaced stator and rebuilt carburatorsit seemed to run fine out of water and easy to start but the second I put it in the water it would not start. Now it won't even start out of the water, just spits a little wen you try to crank it. I got it back from him and I am $800 in so I got to fix it. any ideas about what else I can do?
