Does coosa board need to be completely glassed in?

or will putting it down with 5200 then tabbing it in be sufficient for stringer applications? I'm not going for overkill. If it does not need to be completely encapsulated, I won't do it.

i dont think 5200 is designed as a glue, its more a sealer. I would use something like Pl400 to glue the stringers to the hull, then glass. sorry, i am not familiar with coosa board, but i would glass it right in.

I would glass it before installing simply because its much easier, sand and rinse with acetone then bed it in PL and tab with resin/glass.

Coosa board and other products like it are designed to be used as a core, not a stand alone product, it needs to be glassed.
