Well you didn't provide enough info....
If it's a V-6 that originally had a Cobra installed and the gimbal is still there,
you're stuck with finding another Cobra.
If you want to switch to a Mercruiser, you'll have to find a complete engine, gimbal and sterndrive (with a similar engine to what you have) if you want to switch to a Mercruiser.
That would be your best bet if you could find a Mercruiser set up.....Then at least when you're done, you'll have an engine/drive made by a company that is still in business.
Otherwise you'll need to find a used/rebuilt Cobra drive to install.
In either case, you'll need a complete OEM service manual if you want to do it yourself.
