I have a 2001 Reinell with a Volvo Penta 4.3GL PEFS.
The drive is a SX-M 1.79.

What is the last letter I should be using to order parts.
I come across different suffixes after the 4.3GL. For instance: 4.3GL-A,B,C,D etc.
I can't seem to figure out the difference.

Any idea which letter I should be using to order parts?

It should give you the engine model on the flame arrestor on top of the carb.

You have a 2001 boat, with a 2000 engine package. Your engine is painted gray. not red. Click on the link below.

Anyway, the EF in your model number is what determines the year. Using weird letters was the last of the OMC era. In 2001, Volvo went to a Volvo method of ID. A is an older model than B, and C is newer than B. What a concept. There are also model changes that have nothing to do with year. That is why I always ask for model or SN. Year of the boat is a waste of time.

You are absolutely correct. The engine is charcoal so it is a 2000 vintage. Once I input the 2000 model year, the PEFS shows up.
Thank you.
