Grease fitting whoops!

I was greasing up the steering tube on my '86 evinrude 150. I mistakenly ripped the actual grease fitting out, leaving just a hole where it was.

Any suggestions on how to correct this?

If you ripped out the threads you can take it next larger zerk fitting, there are two common sizes I don't the actual thread sizes but one has a larger thread. If thats beyond your ability at least put a band clamp around the hole to keep water out, or shove a golf tee into it, something, electrical tape, anything.
