Adding a tilt / trim gauge

I want to add a tilt / trim gauge to my 1990 maxum 3.0 alpha 1 out drive, The boat never had one, so is it possible to add one with minimal effort?

the gauges arent all that cheap, but it can be done fairly easily. gauge location and mounting will prob. be the hardest part. The outdrive is probably wired for the gauge already. Mine is, i just havent put a gauge on it yet. You might even have the wire run all the way under the dash already from the factory, as the gauge is usually an option.

So I would have to get a wire schematic for my boat and do some digging around.

search around and maybe ask in the I/O section. On my OMC i believe its a blue/white wire. that, or a brown one. i dont remember. i read about it not too long ago on here, and then looked under my dash and the wire was just sitting there tied up. mine might be different since its an OMC though.
