johson super-seahorse 35 yr and model idenification

I'm trying to ID my seahorse....there is no tags that I can find anywhere...the silver disc on top of the engine has a seahorse logo with the numbers 1994346.any help would be greatly appreciated Thank you.

pictures, that is serial # look on transom mount between the clamps.

ty...finally found plate under dirt....RDSL 21 Bis what the tag says...sound right?

ty for your help...what would the proper forum be to try to identify the boat it is mounted on....no transom tag inside or out

Does your state have boat titles? Surely it has registration numbers. Somebody, somewhere is the registered owner and the papers should state the make and model. But not always.

thanks for all the help...it's a saf t mate skipper according to the decal on the dash...will post pics asap on the right forum for year id ....got boat for nothing,engine runs,boat solid and trailer just needs lights fixed....winter restore project so will definitly need your guidance...Great response and timeliness here..ty all
