Your motor is a 93. You state that you cleaned the carb, can you tell me how you did that?
took it off - all screws out - bottom and the top off.
the littel hose in the bottom by the main jet - blew compressed air in alle hols and lines.
cheked the float height - and the needel valve found it ok.
You may want to take it apart, take it to your nearest small engine shop and get them to put it is their cleaner, get a kit and reassemble. I can't count how many times I've taken a carb apart, sprayed them and blew air through them and put a kit in them. It doesn't make one bit of difference. The small passages inside the carb get plugged up, in your case I think the idle circuit is plugged up. You didn't mention removing the idle screw at the top of the carb, completely dissassemble this thing before you have it cleaned. Ever since I took my first carb into a shop and had them put it in their magical vibrating carb cleaning machine I have never looked back, same procedure time and time again.
thanks for your advise - i just can´t belive it could be that, the carb is like new inside and there is no small passages only in the plastic top and they are veryfine.
anyways the sparkplugs gets plenty with fuel they are black an wet if i take them off, i belive they would be somthing like white if it ran lean.
i´m thinking if it runs too rich the fuel can build up in the exhaust and then ignite in the exhaust at the wrong time
You said, adjusted needle valve to idle was fine. do you mean that you adjusted the slow speed needle valve? The slow speed needle valve should be fine tuned with engine running. It does sound like a lean pop, open slow speed valve, unscrew it, about 1/2 or 3/4 turn with the engine running and see if it helps.

is that ever seen ?

I can show you a video of my friends 40 big twin lean popping at idle, it goes away once I adjust the mixture screw. Try what Daviet said, adjust that idle screw while it is running.
