Does anybody have a diagram of the industry standard transom bolt pattern for outboard mounting? I need to make a shim before I raise mine.
Thanks

What kind of a shim do you need?

Re: standard mount spacing/pattern?

I actually found the bolt spacing in the factory manual (online @ Nissan) today.

I have a 16' aluminum boat that has a aluminum transom cap. The cap leaves a 3/32" or so edge proud of the transom's flat surface on either side. I need/want to make a 3/32" aluminum shim to put on the outside of the transom and under the mounting bracket so that I don't crush the cap edge and have a smooth support when I bolt the motor down. (Sorry no pics) .
I've got some aluminum pieces, just needed the bolt spacing so I can have the shims cut, painted and ready for install when I loosen the motor.
