Evinrude 15 hr year?

Hey, does anyone out there know the year for my old 15 hp Evinrude, model number 15RCOB, sn# ED494066 ? I tried the INTRODUCES, but that didn't seem to help. Also where is the best site to get a shop manuel? Thanks in advance :) Ole' Soldier

"Introduces" works

Ignore the B on the end then C = 8 and O = 5. Therefore 1985 !

For a manual Ken Cook probably

Thanks LT. Thought I was getting a case of stupids. I have found that the shop manuals continue to go where the owners manuals end. I haven't found a "Shop Manual" with Ken Cook. Ole' Soldier, 1SG:)
