I recently bought a 1978, Model 900, 90-horse outboard motor. The person that I bought it from didn't winterize the motor, so you likely know the rest of the story. I've gotten some quotes to clean and reassemble the carburetors, but they are out of this world! So, I picked up a Seloc Mercury Repair Manual to see if I could do it myself. It looks time consuming, but not hard. However, I can't seem to find a listing of the Part Numbers in the Seloc Manual. Furthermore, I can't seem to find an OEM Parts Manual, Repair Manual, or Owners Manual for this motor at the Mercury website, or elsewhere. I'm afraid to order parts for the rebuild without knowing the correct part number or acceptable replacements for the parts. Can anyone give me a hand with this one? Thanks in advance.
