WOT RPM for 120hp Johnson V4 VRO bj120tlcd

Hi
I have a 120hp Johnson mounted on a 21 feet center console, motor was not running for two years so I clean the carb,change the tach, exchange the johnson control because it was to loose and went to 1700 telflex.
I tried the boat and what the surprise,it never was so fast before but @ WOT I read little more then 7000RPM
What would be the optimum WOT on this motor? I order the manual for it but didn't get yet.

5500 6000. make sure the tach is on the right setting.

i also have a 120 1989 and my WOT RPMS 5900... you have to be on the 6P setting since you have 12 poles on that motor

what are your idle RPMS?

the tach is set on 6P and for the iddle I still working on it, I'll be tomorrow at the marina and will check
