So i was working on my radio today, the old one needed replacing.
I have a 2003 Starcraft C-Star, 17' 3.0/Mercruiser.
I traced the wires etc, the radio circuit is its own closed harnes. It has a power and ground. From the radio it has a glass inline fuse, then it has power and ground straight back to the battery.
There is a pigtail with a blade fuse holder in the circuit in the rear. I looks like from the battery it has a wire from the battery down to the bilge pump and the other wire goes to the radio.
I thought it was for the radio, but i was re routing the wires, with the radio on and unplugged the fuse, radio still played.
Dont know what this is for it was blown and i replaced it, but everything worked last week when we took the boat out.
Anyone know what it may be for? I dont have a wiring diagram for it. I can take a picture if any one wants to look.
