I am attempting to repair my grandfathers kicker motor. He was putting his boat in the water and when he lowered his main motor with the power trim it caught the edge of the kicker and broke the transom mount.
I took the motor housing apart and got the half of the mount that was still intack out but when I tried to weld them back together the whole thing was badly bent and the pins will not line up. I can do a lot with metal but I can't work miracles.
Does anyone have any idea where I might be able to find a replacement part for this? The model # is 9R-72M. Let me know if anyone knows of a good place.
