I had to replace the solenoid on my mercury out board about two months ago only used boat a few times and now it seems the solenoid is bad again is this a sign of a deeper problem or maybe just a defective part. please give me your thoughts,thanks

starter solenoid or what? what is doing, or not doing. check all connections make sure everything is snug tught. and grounded. and let us know results

starter solenoid first time I had to jump accross it to get out of the water this time the starter will not disengage Thanks

turn flywheel back and forth , that should disengage starter from flywheel
