I have a 1999 100hp 2-stroke Mercury 2+2, does anyone out there have any idea how I can by-pass the 2+2 option and keep all 4 cylinders running at all times through-out the complete RPM range?

I believe that was done to my '92 2+2, though I'm not sure, I've never seen another and I don't have a manual for.
Mine looks like the fuel lines were rerouted. All four carbs are linked in series, top to bottom, the fuel line from the accelerator pump tees into the fuel line between carbs 2 and 3. Is that how your fuel lins are plumbed?

the bottom two carbs don't have an idle circuit you'll notice idle mixture screws on top two carbs and plugs on the bottom two. port side

IF I re-routed the fuel lines in series, would I have to replace the plugs in the bottom two carbs with idle mixture screws?

On my 91 mariner the carbs are numbered 1 thru 4 at the factory. I think this means that the factory set, air mix adjusting screw (sealed with red goop), is set according to cylinder and I believe the jets are different also. Other than carbs, nothing else is different.
