Default Questions on 1997 Targa 17' 4 people behind the windshield?

Hi all,

I'm looking at buying a '97 Tracker Targa 17. A few questions if anyone can help:

- Does anyone seat 4 people behind the windshield, and does this cause trimming issues? I want to add a bench right against the transom.
- What is the hull thickness on this riveted hull?
- It comes with a 75hp 3 cylinder Mercury 2 stroke -- anyone know anything about this outboard in terms of quality, longevity, etc?

Thanks!

i would not re-arrange the seating with out actually putting people there and see what the performance response was.

contact tracker support they can tell you the exact thickness

while i personally despise 2 stroke motors (i can never get em to work right even brand new ones. its a personal failing) they are work horses if they are properly taken care of and in the hands of a knowledgable boater. if you plan on putting 4 plus yourself in it or plan on skiing or tube towing, 75hp may be on the lower end of what you need.
