starter will not disingage even if motor starts I had to unhook battery to stop starter, have any ideas whats going on took key switch out of buddys boat my switch works fine in his boat but I sill have same problem I even tried pulling starter wire (yellow/red) off switch starter motor run until battery gets unhooked. any ideas welcome Iam completely lost

its sounds like u still get voltage 2 the starter after u turn it 2 on position on the key i hade the same thing happen 2 me on a riding mower i replaced the key switch and it works great 2 this day.

How about dropping the "texting" short cuts for some real words. The problem is a stuck starter solenoid.
