Hello all, My front light is out & wondering what it could be? Maybe the bulb, or shorted wire or maybe a fuse?? Any ideas what could be wrong? Thx Dave

Why don't you just check them and then tell us what you find? You have pretty much all of the bases covered.

Thank you Gentleman. Ran this question in the Force section & I'm putting my $$ on a corroded socket, or burned out bulb. Anchor lite works on both switch sides. I'll take it apart early tomorrow before the weekend trip up north.
I just fixed mine.. it was a corroded spring i just took some sandpaper to the spring where the bulb seats on the bottom and voilia (of course I tested all the way from the fuse first)..
its a 1988 bayliner 18' capri..
oh an the bulb was also burnt but just replacing the bulb didn't work..

Thanks all posters! It was a burned out bulb. NAPA really impressed me though, they carry the bulb, funny looking thing too. A couple of bucks & ten minutes...........all set.
Good to hear.. i wasn't as lucky although it took me 15 minutes to replace the bulbs AND take sandpaper to the spring to remove the corrosion. I replace the nav and anchor lights on mine (both burned out for who knows how long before i bought it).
