Anyone know what all this thing is supposed to do?
I thought it was an accessory plug.....to hook up a tach or something.
Ran across a motor that would not run if it had the jumper wire removed from it....
What exactly is this thing and it's function?
Found on nearly all the merc controls boxes from the late 60's all through the 70s...
