I just passed on it, figured it was too old, I need a kicker motor for Lake Erie and didn't figure it was worth putting the money into to get it running. It was a small motor maybe 5HP Evinrude Zephyer I think he said 1929 all there just needed completely gone over, what do you think should I have bought it?

1929's pretty old. I may have bought it just to screw around with, but wouldn't have put it on lake duty. It'd be a good conversation piece when all polished up, if you're into antiques.

Those were my thoughts too, I'm glad now that I was rinding my motorcycle or I would have probably ended up in my trunk anyhow. I had to think hard about it because i could have even probably gotten it for 10 bucks.

id love to find one of those deals again.i got a 1939 22.5 evinrude last year for 90 bucks and the sucker runs and has the speed lower unit to boot.coudnt bungie it to the back seat,lol?
